Nestled in the rolling hills of Montalbano in Tuscany, Villa Bibbiani traces its history back to 767 AD, encompassing more than 1,300 years of Tuscan heritage. Formerly associated with the Medici and Frescobaldi families, the recently restored estate extends across approximately 400 hectares of vineyards, olive groves and countryside in Capraia e Limite. Its 16 hectares of formal Italian gardens were created by Marquis Cosimo Ridolfi, who also commissioned the estate’s winery in 1850, reflecting Villa Bibbiani's longstanding connection to agriculture, wine and Tuscan culture.

The grounds offer a remarkable combination of landscaped gardens, working vineyards and olive groves, with an outdoor swimming pool providing a place to relax amid the surrounding countryside. Two terraces and a solarium offer additional settings for enjoying the views, while the estate’s working agricultural character remains an integral part of the experience. Wine and olive oil continue to be produced on the property, alongside its historic stables and private underground cellar.

Villa Bibbiani is arranged across three floors and retains an extraordinary collection of original details, including frescoes throughout, historic architectural features and a piano dating from the 1700s. Five living rooms on the ground floor provide a series of elegant spaces for relaxing and entertaining, complemented by a large kitchen and formal dining room. Two panoramic towers rise above the residence, offering elevated views across the surrounding Tuscan landscape, while a gym occupies one of the towers.

Villa Bibbiani's nine bedrooms include two master suites, with every bedroom offering its own bathroom and wardrobe. Two bedrooms also have private living rooms, while another features its own sauna. Beyond the bedrooms, guests can enjoy a billiards room and cigar room, as well as an indoor saltwater swimming pool and hot tub.

Among the estate’s most extraordinary features is an 18th-century theatre decorated with frescoes and capable of seating up to 70 guests. A historic chapel, consecrated by Pope Clement XII in the 18th century, contains frescoes, mosaics and sculptures, adding further depth to the property’s remarkable cultural heritage.

Villa Bibbiani offers an exceptionally private base for exploring Florence and the surrounding regions vineyards, historic towns and cultural landmarks.
