Chalet La Fenice

Breuil-Cervinia, Aosta Valley, Italy

7 Bedrooms

7 Bathrooms

14 Guests

Set high on the slopes of the Matterhorn above Breuil-Cervinia, Chalet La Fenice spans approximately 1,200 square metres across six floors, with sweeping views of the Matterhorn and Aosta Valley. Classic Alpine architecture brings together exposed wood beams and natural stone, while expansive floor-to-ceiling windows introduce a contemporary sense of scale and keep the surrounding mountains constantly in view. An elevator connects all six levels, creating easy access to the chalet’s extensive living, wellness and entertainment spaces.

At the heart Chalet La Fenice, the drawing room and club room are framed by floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Matterhorn. A two-sided stone fireplace connects the spaces, complemented by underfloor heating, Smart televisions and an integrated sound system. Five large terraces and two south-facing balconies extend the living areas into the mountain landscape, while outdoor dining and a private hot tub with incredible Matterhorn views provide inviting settings for time outdoors.

Seven bedrooms offer generous private accommodations. The top floor is dedicated to a penthouse bedroom, while two primary suites each enjoy their own private terrace, with one also opening onto an additional balcony. Four junior suites complete the accommodation, including two connected by a shared balcony. The layout provides larger groups with substantial private space while maintaining access to the chalet’s shared terraces and mountain views.

Wellness facilities rival those of a private Alpine spa. A 10-metre indoor swimming pool with mountain views is complemented by a hammam steam room, sauna, hot and cold shower room and dedicated treatment room. A fully equipped gym provides space for training, while the outdoor hot tub offers the opportunity to recover in the fresh mountain air.

Entertainment continues with a private cinema, games room and a wine cellar. An office allows guests to work privately when required, and dedicated ski and bike storage accommodates equipment throughout the seasons.

Chalet La Fenice sits within reach of the extensive Matterhorn Ski Paradise, linking Breuil-Cervinia with the high-altitude terrain surrounding the Matterhorn and Zermatt. Its elevated position provides an immersive mountain setting surrounded by nature, with the peaks and Aosta Valley forming the backdrop throughout the property.

From days on the slopes to evenings beside the stone fireplace, spa sessions and time on the mountain-facing terraces, Chalet La Fenice offers an exceptionally complete base beneath one of the Alps’ most recognisable peaks.
