Ca Bossi: 6-Bedroom Mountain Retreat with Indoor Pool & Sauna Near Lake Como

Lake Como, Italy

6 Bedrooms

7 Bathrooms

12 Guests

Perched atop Monte Bisbino, Ca Bossi offers a private mountain retreat surrounded by pine forests, panoramic trails, and breathtaking views. Embraced by nature, the property allows guests to experience the rhythm of the seasons, from sun-dappled summers to snow-blanketed winters, all within a peaceful and inspiring setting.

Outdoor spaces include shaded terraces, forest gardens, and direct access to scenic hiking trails that lead to charming local mountain refuges. Guests can relax by the gardens, gather on the terrace for stargazing, or explore the unspoiled nature trails surrounding the lodge.

Inside, the Salone forms the heart of the property, featuring an open-plan living space with a fireplace, music corner, mezzanine lounge, and a pool table. The open-air kitchen is fully equipped, complete with a wood-fired pizza oven and essential pantry ingredients, creating a welcoming space for cooking and socializing. Adjacent to the Salone is a relaxation area with an indoor pool, a hydro-massage pool, a sauna, and a small fitness and meditation room — perfect for unwinding after a day outdoors.

Ca Bossi accommodates up to 12 guests across six individually styled bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom. Three bedrooms are located on the upper floor — two with private terraces offering views to the north and south — and three on the ground floor. Every room carries its own distinct charm, blending rustic character with modern comfort.

Guests can embark on scenic hikes right from the property to local refuges such as Vetta Bisbino (five minutes by car or 20-30 minutes by foot), Rifugio Bugone (a gentle 15-20 minute walk), Rifugio Murelli (around 1 hour through the forest), and Roccolo San Bernardo, where visitors can savor homemade cheeses, cured meats, and traditional dishes.

Ca Bossi is more than a stay — it’s an invitation to slow down, reconnect with nature, and experience the true spirit of the Lake Como, Italy, mountains.
