Royal Island, Bahamas,  is comprised of five beachfront bungalows and two suites.  A private beach club sits  on white sand Melanie Beach.  Only four miles from North Eleuthera and forty miles northeast of Nassau, Royal Island is, however, not isolated.  Shopping, dining venues, and nightlife options are available on nearby Harbour Island.

Hosting up to 14 guests, the bungalows share a private beach club with a pool and fitness facilities. Lovely ocean views are enjoyed from the dining pavilion as well as from the Driftwood bar. A beach front fire pit warms the evenings and live music is provided when available.  Private massages can be arranged at extra cost.

Water sports and boating possibilities are endless and diving, fishing, snorkeling, jet skiing, sailing and beach volleyball are available to guests at no extra cost.

Five air-conditioned beachfront bungalows are nestled in the island’s lush greenery. Each one is decorated in a contemporary island style and features seating areas, informal dining table and a desk area. A wooden deck surrounds each bungalow and hosts lounge chairs perfect for relaxing.  A private wet bar can be found inside each bungalow.  Bars are fully stocked and allow guests to prepare their favorite drink before they sunbathe on the beach.  An IPod dock, DVD player, and satellite TV are available for guests who love technology.  Each bedroom has a king sized bed and the bathrooms have full showers, bathtubs and double vanity sinks. Adjacent to the beach club is a children's/teen's room with two bunk beds and private bathroom.  A retreat for nannies with a queen bed and en-suite bathroom is adjacent to the fitness center.

From the minute guests are greeted by staff and transported via private yacht from North Eleuthera to their personal private island, Royal Island provides a luxury experience.  Set amidst lush vegetation, surrounded by crystal clear waters, and with a full range of amenities, Royal Island is a retreat that is perfect for families, friends, corporate retreats or private functions.
