When a group of New York City tastemakers arrived in Sint Maarten in May, the first thing they\u00a0didn\u2019t\u00a0have to do was wait in line. A VIP meet-and-greet at the airport handled their immigration, collected their luggage, and walked them straight to the dock \u2014 where a private boat awaited them with chilled beverages, including freshly-prepared rum punches, followed by a short 30-minute transfer to Anguilla. By the time they arrived at Rendezvous Villa, greeted by staff and\u00a0welcomed with\u00a0light refreshments, the trip had already set its tone: effortless, elevated, and entirely taken care of.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
